Rice Online training is required for all faculty teaching in the Fall. Register for self-paced training here.

Face-to-Face Courses

All instructors teaching in Dual Delivery mode must complete the following three modules from Rice Online Learning and the Information Security Office before the fall semester begins:

1. Student Success and Creating an Online Community
2. Making Your Course Accessible
3. Creating a Secure Learning Environment

Fully Online Courses

All instructors teaching in Fully Online mode must complete the following six modules from Rice Online Learning and the Information Security Office before the fall semester begins:

1. Student Success and Creating an Online Community
2. Making Your Course Accessible
3. Creating a Secure Learning Environment
4. Designing Your Course for Online Delivery
5. Getting the Most out of Canvas
6. Video Production for Teaching Online
